ENERGIEFORUM KÄRNTEN is an association made up of people and companies that are involved in the field of ecological construction and renovation, renewable energy, energy saving, mobility, renovation of old buildings. Energieforum Kärnten defines itself as a platform for sustainability and is also an information platform that seeks to reach and motivate sustainability and the circular economy. In order to reach as many people and businesses as possible, numerous activities are planned such as marketing events, participation in trade fairs or information events. 

Energieforum Kärnten is networked with many associations, sustainability organizations and educational institutions. This network is very important in Carinthia especially for the organization of sustainability days. 

Among the various projects of the Forum, the “KärntenHaus 4.0”, a concept for the construction of single-family houses, developed by the experts of the Energyforum, appears very relevant to the Project. It is based on three key factors: a) quality assurance: those who buy a KärntenHaus 4.0 buy a high-quality house built according to the criteria of the Energy Forum; b) the participating companies are renowned and certified by the Energieforum Kärnten. Regional added value is the soul of the initiative: companies from all Carinthian districts are involved in this project; c) Energyforum experts accompany each project during its implementation. 

Energieforum in its position as a center of expertise for SMART LIVING will represent a powerful driving force for the birth of the MC DEA CENTER in Carinthia and for the dissemination and exploitation of the project results within local SMEs.
